Martha hits new heights

Braintree U18 high-jumper, Martha May has set a new Personal Best while finishing 3rd in the BIGish 2026 meeting at Bedford (  https://www.bedfordgames.co.uk/ ). The meeting took place on Bank Holiday Monday (25th May), and featured some big names in UK athletics, including indoor world champion pole vaulter, Molly Caudery .

Martha said: “I jumped an outdoor PB of 1.63m and finished 3rd. I also met Molly Caudery and several other international athletes while I was there.”

Martha’s 1.63m (1.65m indoors) places her 10th on the Power of 10 UK rankings (so far this season). Congratulations, Martha, on what is already shaping up as a great season.
