The High Easter 10K road race offers a fast, flat course, following a single loop of quiet Essex country lanes around the village of High Easter. As part of the Essex Road Running Grand Prix, the race at 10:00 on Sunday 14th June, 2026, included the Essex County 10K Championships.
With its combination of Essex Championship status, strong community support and fast countryside course, the High Easter 10K has established itself as one of the county’s most popular summer road races.
The race was won by Oluwatosin Adedeji of Newham & Essex Beagle in 30:56.0. First Braintree & District AC (BDAC) athlete was Peter Coates in 32:06.0 (2nd in the MV40 category), with William Harvey (11th) winni9ng the Junior Male category and Philip Cooper (12) winning the MV45 category.
