Here’s a useful tutorial TikTok from England Athletics – How to set-up your starting blocks.
NOTE – if you’re a hurdler you need to set-up according to which is your lead leg (not necessarily your stronger leg). Most sprint hurdlers take 8-strides to the first hurdle. That means that if you’re a right-lead-leg you should set-up your blocks with your left leg at the front.
